175th Anniversary of Roebling Bridge
Tickets Available for April 27 Event
For Roebling’s Delaware Aqueducts
LACKAWAXEN – Ticket sales are now open for the 175 th Anniversary of the
local first crossing of Roebling Aqueducts, which will be publicly celebrated on April 27.
Admission at $25 per person will include a 10 a.m. walking tour of the National
Park Service’s Roebling’s Delaware Aqueduct starting on the Pennsylvania side and
guided by Professor and Historian Paul C. King, followed by a 12-4 p.m. program at The
New Inn at Lackawaxen, 188 Scenic Drive, with a buffet lunch, a canal music sing-along
with Dan Engvaldsen, commemorative program, exhibits, and historical remarks by
Sullivan County Historian John Conway, D&H Transportation Heritage Council
(D&HTHC) President Bill Merchant, and Professor King.
To reserve by an April 19 deadline, please provide names to DHTHC Secretary
Laurie Ramie at laurie@upperdelawarecouncil.org or (845) 252-3022, with advance
payment via checks payable to “DHTHC” and mailed/delivered to 211 Bridge St., P.O.
Box 192, Narrowsburg, NY 12764 or electronically through the Venmo or PayPal icons
at the www.dhthc.org home page.

Greeley Fire Department Gun Raffle

Pancake Breakfast
Come join Stations 23 and 31 for a Mutual Aid Pancake Breakfast from 9am-12pm at the Lackawaxen Fire House. The menu includes: pancakes, eggs, sausage, coffee, tea, and orange juice. Cost is $8 for adults, $5 for children, and little ones 3 and younger eat for free.

Central Fire Department Open House
EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT: Join us Saturday, July 6th for an Open House celebrating our 75th Anniversary! Central Fire Department Annual Raffle & Dinner
Our Annual Raffle will take place Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 4-9pm with doors opening at 3pm.
Tickets are $20 and your ticket includes food and beverages, and a chance to win one of 10 ticket prizes. There will be additional walk around raffles, tricky tray items, and a 50/50.
You can see any member to purchase a ticket, and there is a listing of ticket prizes and a place to request raffle tickets on our website. (Tickets purchased with a credit card will have a $1 service fee added.)

Central Fire Department Easter Bake Sale - Pre Order Only
If you would like to have tasty Easter goodies without having to do the baking, we can help! This year we will be having a pre-order Easter Bake Sale! Orders can be placed in person at the firehouse on Thursday, 3/7 from 6-8pm, Tuesday, 3/12 from 5:30-7pm, and Thursday, 3/14 from 6-8pm.

All orders must be paid in full by 3/16 with pick up taking place at the firehouse on 3/23 from 9am to noon.

Saturday, March 23rd for Breakfast with the Easter Bunny! Breakfast is from 9:00am to 12:00 noon and is free for children under age 12. Individuals 12 and older will pay $10.

Holiday Craft Fair
Join the Lackawaxen Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for their annual Holiday Craft Fair on Saturday, December 2nd. from 9:30 until 3 p.m.
We still have space for anyone interested in displaying their crafts for sale and can contact Linda at 570 685-1998.
There will be food available, lots of parking, and vendors can come at 8 a.m.
Door prizes (donated by vendors) that we give out every half hour.
